GOOD NEWS!! 45-goal winger wants to join Manchester United, rejects multiple offers: report

Brazil international Lucas Moura is reportedly holding out for a move to Manchester United, if he is to leave Paris Saint-Germain during the winter transfer window.
The 25-year-old has fallen out-of-favour at Parc des Princes this term owing to the added competition brought forward by the summer arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

According to Telefoot, the former Sao Paulo graduate wants to pursue a switch to Old Trafford, and he has therefore snubbed interest from several clubs including Claudio Ranieri’s Nantes and Spanish side Real Betis.

However, the deal may not be straightforward as Les Parisiens have set a £40m price tag for the attacker, whom Jose Mourinho is said to want on a temporary deal. Moura was previously on United’s radar back in the summer of 2012, but a deal could not materialise after then-manager Sir Alex Ferguson refused to match Sao Paulo’s £38m asking price.

Since then, Moura has linked up with Paris Saint-Germain, where he has had a decent return from out wide with 45 goals in over 200 appearances. Despite enjoying his best spell with Les Parisiens (19 goals) last term, and he has seemingly out of contention this campaign with just five substitute appearances in Ligue 1.

United have not found the perfect fit on the right side of the attack where the likes of Juan Mata and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have not quite impressed, but it would be a wise decision to pursue a short-term loan for Moura first in order to assess whether he can acclimatise to the English game.
