See who was spotted in Man United training ground ahead of Chelsea clash

United are Set to Welcome back swedish legendary striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The talismanic swede had been on the sidelines since April this year, after rupturing his cruciate ligament in a Europa league game against Anderlecht.
Ever since then, Mourinho had been forced to explore other striking options, which included purchasing 75 million pound striker Romelu Lukaku from Everton.

According to reports, Ibrahimovic has started training with the first team squad at United’s Carrington base. Despite being ruled out until December, observers and reporters alike were stunned when they saw him show up for training.

The ex-PSG forward had been undergoing light personal training and working out to ease his recovery, but it appears that he has stepped up his gear, in a bid to be ready for selection in United’s first team for the remainder of the season.

Mourinho will certainly be excited at the development. Even though young Belgian Romelu Lukaku appears to have made the top striker role at the club his own, Ibrahimovic’s new found fitness will surely put him on his toes; that is, if he doesn’t altogether oust him for a few games this season. Mourinho is reportedly keen to offer Lukaku some rest, and the timing of Ibrahimovic’s return may not have been better.

It remains to be seen if Mourinho will immediately thrust him into the action, or if he will stick to the trio of Lukaku, Martial and Rashford. However, whichever his choice is, United fans can rejoice again, for their talismanic – almost arrogant striker – is back!
