Manchester United are reported to be considering a swoop for Barcelona star Arda Turan, before the closure of the transfer window.
The 30-year-old has slipped down the pecking order at the Nou Camp and new Barca boss Ernesto Valverde will not stand in his way if United make an approach.
Reports in the Spanish press are claiming that Turan has met with United boss Jose Mourinho on 'more than one occasion' and a deal could go through ahead of the transfer deadline.
Mourinho has brought in Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic so far this summer, but he is not done yet and wants at least one more addition.
A deal to sign Ivan Perisic looks unlikely as he closes in on a new deal with Inter Milan, so Mourinho could turn his attentions to Barca star Turan instead.
The United boss will have to move quickly though as the same reports also suggest that Turkish outfit Galatasaray are keen to push through a deal
