Man United could sign top 28-year-old attacker on one condition – report

Manchester United could complete a deal to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid this summer – if they include David De Gea as part of the transfer, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish outlet Don Balon, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that Manchester United are keen to bring the Wales international to Old Trafford this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his attacking options.

The same story says that Real Madrid are considering offloading Bale this summer to pave the way for a big-money transfer to sign Kylian Mbappe from Monaco.

The article says that Manchester United could get the green light to sign Bale this summer, but only as long as they include long-term target De Gea as part of the deal.

The goalkeeper has long been linked with a move to The Bernabeu and his proposed transfer to the Spanish club fell through at the final hour back in the summer of 2015.

It remains to be seen whether Manchester United would be willing to let one of their prized assets leave the club in order to complete a deal for Bale this summer.

Manchester United have already completed deals to sign Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic this summer.
