Ivan Perisic to Manchester United: Angel Di Maria deal could secure move - report

Manchester United want to make Perisic their fourth new arrival for the summer.Jose Mourinho has already spent £140million in the transfer window but is reluctant to splash out £48m on Perisic.Inter won’t budge on their valuation as they don’t want to sell a prized asset.

But Italian journalist and TV presenter Giorgio Micheletti has told Tuttomercatoweb a deal for Perisic could be on the cards.However, Inter will need Di Maria lined up for a move from PSG before they agree to let the Croatia international go.

 Milan will only let Ivan Perisic (right) go if they have a replacement lined up"For a while he has been linked with Inter,”  Micheletti told TMW when discussing Di Maria. “It would be an interesting purchase and would increase the quality of the squad. “However, his arrival could liberate Perisic and see him head to Manchester United."Di Maria is supposedly ready to leave PSG, having joined them from United in a £44m deal back in 2015.

The Ligue 1 club spent £200m on Neymar on Wednesday and may consider selling Di Maria to make room for the Brazilian. As for Perisic, United are supposedly growing less confident over their chances of securing the winger. It was claimed in the week that United have until Friday to lodge a bid - otherwise Inter will take him off the market.

As for Perisic, Inter have offered the 28-year-old a new contract worth £104,000 a week in the hope that will kill off United’s interest.
