Manchester United are on the brink of announcing a deal to sign young striker Bruno Amorim from Oliveirense, according to reports in Portugal.

Portuguese outlet Noticias ao Minuto, as quoted by the Sun, is reporting that the Red Devils are set to clinch the signing of the 19-year-old in the coming days.

The same report carries quotes from the Portuguese side’s club director claiming that Manchester United are set to wrap up the signing of the forward.

If the deal does indeed go through, Amorim would become Manchester United’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window after the captures of Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic.

The same story says that Amorim has impressed Manchester United scouts and that the Red Devils will pay a “minimal” fee to sign him.

Manchester United are currently preparing to kick off their second season under Jose Mourinho following the Portuguese coach’s appointment at Old Trafford last summer.

The Red Devils, who finished sixth in the top flight last term, are set to host West Ham United at Old Trafford as they look to get their Premier League campaign off to a winning start.
