RIDICULOUS!!!! Chelsea to sell off their power house to an opposition; Chelsea fans not happy

Arsenal have taken pole position in the race to sign Chelsea defender David Luiz in January, according to reports on the Metro.

David Luiz has fallen down the pecking order after a fallout with manager Antonio Conte when the defender voiced his concern about the manager’s tactics following a loss to AS Roma in the Champions League.

The Metro earlier reported that Real Madrid were in the running to sign the former PSG man, with other reports claiming Barcelona had submitted an opening offer.

However, the Express believe Arsenal have now taken the lead to sign the 30-year-old owing to their looming defensive crisis.

The Brazilian has been out of action with a knee injury that has seen him miss the last 11 games for the Blues, but he is nearing full fitness, and would be interested in a move.

Chelsea will likely be reluctant to sell a player with such huge qualities to Arsenal, if they however agree to do a deal, it’ll be to the benefit of both the Gunners and the player, since he wouldn’t have to move his family or take too long to adapt to a new league just mont
