Andrea Belotti will reportedly opt against a move to Chelsea in favour of signing a new deal at Torino.


The 23-year-old was heavily linked with a move to The Blues in the summer transfer window.
Antonio Conte wanted to bring the Italy international to Stamford Bridge as a long-term replacement for Diego Costa, who will be Atletico Madrid player in January. Chelsea boss bought £70million Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, and the deal for Belotti failed to materialise.

Belotti remains high on Conte’s wishlist. He could move for his compatriot again in January.But any chance of signing him in the future has been put in major doubt.The Italian outlet Calciomercato claim that he is considering staying at Torino. Belotti has held secret talks with the club side over a bumper new contract.

Torino are determined to keep hold of their prized asset. The Seria A side apparently willing to offer him £2.7m a year deal. They also plan on increasing his current £88.5m release clause in a bid to ward off interest from the Blues.

AC Milan have shown a keen interest in Belotti too, but he looks set to remain at Torino.Belotti has already scored five goals in six games in all competitions for Torino this season.His current contract at the club expires in the summer of 2021.
