Man United Round-up: Deal Agreed For 21-Year-Old!

Manchester United have officially announced Andreas Pereira has signed a new contract before the midfielder completed loan move to La Liga.


The talented playmaker joined Valencia on loan during the final hours of the Spanish transfer window, having originally been expected to remain at the Theatre of Dreams and fight for a first team spot.



Andreas Pereira, whose new contract deal will run until 2019 with an option for a further year, is a top-ated prospect but faces a great deal of big-name competition in Man United’s midfield at the moment.

The Brazilian midfielder also spent last season on loan at La Liga club Granada, and shone for the club despite their relegation from the Spanish top division.


Jose Mourinho said: ‘Andreas is already a very good footballer. He is a young player with great natural ability and a good attitude towards continuing his development.

‘I have no doubt that he has the potential to be one of the future great players of this club.’

Pereira, himself, added: ‘I am delighted that I have extended my contract with this great club.

‘The manager is building a great team here and I want to be part of that as soon as possible. ‘I am going to continue my development at Valencia this season in the hope that I will get plenty of minutes on the pitch.
