MANCHESTER UNITED need to consider their transfer plans for next summer before doing any deal for Ivan Perisic
That's according to European football journalist Pete Jenson, who thinks Gareth Bale and Antoine Griezmann could come into United's thoughts.
Inter have so far knocked back United's attempts to persuade them to part with Perisic, who is valued around £48million.
Boss Jose Mourinho wants a winger but it's unclear whether they'll get him this summer.
On a possible deal for the Croat international, Jenson told 5 Live's Football podcast: "They need to plan long term to a certain extent and they need to think of the summer of 2018.
"Are they going to go back in for Griezmann? In the current climate his buy-out clause is quite reasonable at £100m.
